Show Description

ENTRANTS PLEASE NOTE:
These awards are to encourage and reward our youth for their interest and involvement in local and national agricultural issues, the Royal Bathurst Show and the Show movement generally.
• Submit detailed Resume with the entry form attached (focusing on your rural and community achievements)
• Include a covering letter as to why you would like to be a Young Rural Achiever
• Include a recent photograph
• List 2 or 3 Referees (or References) who can be contacted (one only from educational institution)
• Include Recommendations and Testimonials from educational institutions, employers, colleagues, community groups etc.




WHO CAN ENTER?
Applicants must be:

• Permanent Residents of Australia, residing in NSW
• Able to spend time at Royal Bathurst Show 1st May to
3rd May 2026.
• Volunteer as a Steward during the Show, Please nominate day, time & section you would like to be involved with.
• Able to demonstrate a desire to become actively involved in local Shows and become ambassador for Shows

Each qualifying entrant will receive:
• A Royal Bathurst Show Certificate of Achievement presented by the Bathurst AH&P Association.
1st in each class will receive $50, 2nd $30 and 3rd $20 sponsored by McIntosh McPhillamy & Co. Solicitors.
• Overall winner will become ROYAL BATHURST SHOW
MCINTOSH MCPHILLAMY & CO, RURAL ACHIEVER OF
2026 and will be a Show Ambassador for 12 months,

assisting with the Award programme at 2027 Show.


RESPONSIBILITY AT THE SHOW:

Each qualifying entrant will be required to Steward at the Show.
• NB: This will not preclude in any way entrants exhibiting at the Show or assisting with exhibition. In this case prior approval is required and entrants must show evidence of that participation throughout the Show
